Who I am

Hi! I'm Kim, and I'm passionate about helping therapists build meaningful, sustainable careers rooted in authenticity, self-empowerment, and self-trust. Whether you're just starting out or expanding into new stages of your practice, I offer support that's relational, empowering, and personalized to your unique path.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor in Texas, with experience specializing in eating disorders, body image issues, compulsive exercise, trauma, and anxiety. I also founded and run a thriving group practice, giving me first-hand experience with both clinical work and the business side of therapy.

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and resource-focused. I believe supervision and consultation are most powerful when they create a space for curiosity, honesty, self-compassion, and growth. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you develop greater confidence, clarity, and alignment in your work.

Outside of my professional life, you’ll usually find me somewhere in nature, volunteering at Austin Farm Sanctuary, teaching cardio barre classes, reading fantasy novels, or spending time with my four (yes, four) cats.

My Approach

My work is influenced by a blend of models that honor connection, self-trust, and the complexity of each person's story. I draw most prominently from:

  • NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) — supporting growth through a compassionate, present-focused understanding of developmental trauma and identity.

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems) — helping people deepen self-awareness and build trust in their internal system with curiosity and compassion.

  • Attachment-focused and Humanistic frameworks — creating spaces rooted in safety, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard.

  • Family Systems theories — understanding individuals within the context of their relationships, histories, and environments.

  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) — encouraging flexibility, self-compassion, and values-guided action.

  • Narrative Therapy — helping people explore and reshape the stories they hold about themselves with agency and empowerment.

At the heart of my work is a belief in the strength, intuition, and resilience that each therapist already carries — and a commitment to walking alongside you as you deepen your skills, confidence, and authentic voice.
